Express Employment Professionals Guelph is looking for a driven, competitive and growth-minded staffing leader to run our Guelph operation.

This is not a role for someone looking to maintain the status quo.

You will lead the team, oversee our staffing divisions, own recruitment delivery, grow Direct Hire, drive profitability and take ownership of the branch P&L.;

Working directly with the Franchise Owner and alongside our Sales Manager, your job is to turn opportunity into results:

Fill the orders. Get great people working. Grow the business. Develop the team. Drive gross margin.

The foundation, systems and training are already here. We're looking for the leader who wants to take it to the next level.

What You'll Own

Lead the Business

- Own the operational and financial performance of the Guelph office
- Drive revenue, gross margin and profitability
- Oversee performance across our staffing and recruiting divisions
- Know the numbers, identify gaps and execute the plan
- Own the branch P&L; and growth targets

Lead the Team
- Lead, coach and develop our Recruiters and Employment Specialists
- Set clear KPIs and expectations
- Create accountability and urgency around results
- Develop high performers and address performance gaps
- Build a competitive, collaborative and high-performance culture

Fill With Urgency An unfilled order is lost opportunity. You'll ensure the team attacks qualified orders with speed and discipline.
- Drive fill rate and speed-to-fill
- Review open orders and recruiting priorities daily
- Build talent pipelines ahead of demand




- Remove roadblocks on difficult orders
- Drive redeployment and keep great associates working

Grow Direct Hire Direct Hire is a key growth opportunity.

You'll create the plan, activity and accountability to build a consistent permanent placement business—driving candidate pipelines, client opportunities, interviews, offers and placements.

Market Great Talent

Partner With Sales

You'll work hand-in-hand with our Sales Manager to:

- Convert new business into successful client relationships
- Grow existing accounts and increase market share
- Align recruiting capacity with sales growth
- Identify new temporary and permanent staffing opportunities
- Drive client retention and the ClearlyRated client experience strategy

What You Bring

- Proven leadership experience in staffing, recruitment or workforce solutions
- Experience leading and developing a performance-driven team
- Strong understanding of temporary staffing and permanent recruitment
- Commercial understanding of revenue, gross margin, pricing and profitability
- Experience managing KPIs and business performance
- Robust coaching and performance-management skills
- Client-facing and business-development confidence
- High sense of urgency and accountability
- Competitive drive and a genuine growth mindset

Additional Requirements

- Full-time, in-office position in Guelph
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Valid passport
- Willingness to travel occasionally to the United States and Caribbean for conferences, training and leadership development
