Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them relax, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various massage techniques and excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for every client.

Duties

- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities
- Assess client conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and explain treatment procedures
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend follow-up treatments as needed
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Qualifications





- Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state regulations
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to health and wellness is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
- Ability to listen attentively and tailor treatments to individual needs
- Prior experience in a spa or wellness setting is a plus but not mandatory
- Commitment to maintaining professional ethics and ongoing education in massage therapy techniques
