About Sorora

Sorora Medical & Laser Clinic is a physician-led medical aesthetics and skincare clinic in Langley, BC. We provide evidence-informed treatments for a broad range of skin concerns and skin types, with particular experience in acne, pigmentation, skin of colour and medical-aesthetic care.

Our technology includes the Sciton suite, including BBL, Forever Clear, Forever Bare, MOXI, HALO and ProFractional, as well as Aerolase Neo, Morpheus8, SkinPen and HydraFacial.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Aesthetician / Laser Technician to join our clinical team.

The Role

This is primarily a hands-on treatment and consultation role.

You will work directly with patients from consultation and treatment planning through treatment delivery, skincare recommendations, documentation, follow-up and rebooking.

We are looking for someone with meaningful hands-on medical aesthetics and laser experience who is comfortable working across a broad treatment menu and interested in continuing to develop their clinical skills.

Responsibilities

- Perform medical-aesthetic, laser and energy-based treatments within your training and demonstrated competency.
- Conduct aesthetic consultations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Assess patient concerns, goals, suitability, contraindications and expectations within your scope.
- Educate patients on treatment options, preparation, expected outcomes and aftercare.
- Recommend appropriate professional skincare and home-care products.
- Complete treatment notes, consents and clinical photography accurately and promptly.
- Support appropriate rebooking and continuity across treatment plans.
- Prepare and turn over treatment rooms and equipment between patients.
- Follow Sorora’s treatment protocols and device-safety requirements.




- Recognize when a patient concern requires physician assessment or direction and escalate appropriately.
- Work collaboratively with the Medical Director, Clinic Director and other members of the Sorora team.

- Sciton ProFractional
- Aerolase Neo
- Morpheus8
- Laser hair removal
- SkinPen microneedling
- HydraFacial
- Chemical peels and other medical-aesthetic treatments

Candidates do not necessarily need previous experience on every Sorora platform, but should already have meaningful medical-aesthetics and laser experience and be capable of progressing across the clinic’s treatment menu.

What We’re Looking For

- Previous hands-on medical-aesthetic and laser experience.
- Appropriate education and training in medical aesthetics and/or laser treatments.
- Strong consultation and patient-communication skills.
- Good understanding of skin concerns, treatment selection and contraindications within scope.
- Robust attention to detail and accurate documentation.
- Comfortable working with a diverse patient population and range of skin types.
- Professional, reliable and able to work independently within established protocols.
- Good judgment regarding when to treat, defer or escalate.
- Interest in developing broad clinical capability rather than remaining limited to one or two treatments or devices.

Schedule This is a part-time position with a combination of weekday and weekend shifts.

Regular Saturday availability and weekday flexibility are significant for this role. Hours and the exact schedule will be discussed early in the interview process and may vary based on clinic needs and patient demand.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 22.5 per week
