We are a Family Physician Clinic located on the North-east side of Edmonton. We are a busy, patient-focused medical clinic looking to add a MOA to our small and supportive team. This is a part-time and is expected to transition into full-time.

Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records.
- Deal with a multi-phone system.
- Manage patient flow between appointments and walk-ins.
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner.
- Assist with medical billing and coding.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment.
- Collect and verify patient information for accuracy.
- Provide administrative support to physicians and other healthcare staff.
- Assisting with vital signs, driver's medical and other examinations.

What We’re Looking For:





- Experience as an MOA in a medical clinic setting
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a quick-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems (AVA preferred) and general computer applications
- Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude toward patient care
- flexible schedule, willing to work casual, part-time and week-ends
- Experience with AVA is an asset.
