Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full time Medical Office / Clinic Assistant to join our clinic.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of medical clinic and excellent communication skills to assist patients effectively and maintain a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
- Collect patient information, medical records, and medical histories accurately
- Provide education and set up on medical device
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Issue invoice and submit government subsidy program document
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and medications as needed
- Handle book-keeping and invoices

Requirements

- Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of patient care practices and medical terminology
- Familiar with EMR
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff




- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details
- Able to work on Saturday
- Must be able to drive to satellite location, i.e Gravenhurst

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:
- Medical Office / Clinic: 1 year (required)
- Electronic Medical Records: 1 year (required)
- Provide one-on-one Medical Device Education : 1 year (preferred)
