Flow Team’s Tech Stack

Development is in a Linux based environment. The backend software is written in Python and Golang. Tools like git, open source libraries etc are used for regular product and test infrastructure development. We work on problems covering aspects of Software defined Networking, Networking security, Offloading AI workloads and enterprise scale.

Your Role

- Develop a world-class network security product that is distributed, resilient, and highly performant at large-scale deployments within enterprise customers.
- Adapt best engineering practices, including the creation of clear functional specs, design documents, and test plans, while ensuring code hygiene and thorough testing.
- Collaborate with a geo-distributed team and deliver projects with high quality and predictability under minimal supervision.
- Work on improving existing systems to provide improved functionality, performance and reliability for our customers.
- Work alongside development, test, documentation, and product management teams to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Bring
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech or equivalent in Computer Science.
- Strong technical and interpersonal communication (written and spoken).
- 0-2 years of software development experience with a focus on Distributed Systems Architecture.
- Advanced level programming proficiency in Python, Golang, Java, C, or C++.
- Robust fundamentals in Operating Systems, Multi-threaded/Multi-Process Applications, IPC, and RPC.

Work Arrangement Hybrid/Remote (for roles advertised in both RTO & non-RTO locations e.g United States, Mexico, Canada): Subject to business requirements, this role may be determined to be remote or in a hybrid capacity. If the selected candidate resides within 50 miles of a Nutanix office requiring in-office presence (specifically in San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Vancouver, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney, or Tokyo), it will require working onsite a minimum of three days per week. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by the hiring manager.

Pay Transparency - Role Location The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between CAD $103,000 and CAD $155,000 per annual.However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
