Exact Industrial Ltd. is looking for an experienced Millwright Foreman to join our team.

We are a growing industrial contractor based in Cambridge, Ontario, providing millwrighting, machinery moving, rigging, fabrication, piping and industrial maintenance services throughout Ontario.

Exact Industrial is a 24/7 company. We support our customers around the clock, including emergency service calls, shutdowns, weekends and off-shift work. Applicants must be flexible and willing to work outside regular hours when required.

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on foreman who can run work, lead a crew and get the job done. The right candidate will have a strong millwrighting background and be comfortable taking ownership of jobs from start to finish.

Responsibilities

- Lead and work alongside millwright crews on industrial projects
- Plan and coordinate daily work in the field
- Read and interpret drawings, layouts and equipment documentation
- Coordinate machinery installations, removals, relocations and shutdown work
- Direct rigging, equipment setting, alignment and mechanical installation
- Perform and oversee welding, fitting and field fabrication as required
- Coordinate labour, tools, equipment and materials
- Communicate with Project Managers, customers and other trades
- Complete daily paperwork, timesheets and field documentation
- Identify changes and extra work and communicate them to the Project Manager
- Maintain a safe, organized and productive jobsite
- Ensure work is completed properly and efficiently
- Respond to changing schedules, emergency work and customer requirements as needed

Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of industrial millwright/trade experience




- Licensed 426A Construction Millwright or 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright preferred
- Previous foreman or crew-lead experience
- Strong industrial millwrighting and mechanical experience
- Solid rigging and machinery-moving experience
- Strong welding and fabrication skills
- Experience with SMAW (stick), GMAW (MIG) and basic field fabrication
- Comfortable fitting, cutting, welding and modifying steel in the field
- Able to read drawings and plan work independently
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Comfortable dealing directly with customers
- Valid driver's licence
- Must be willing to work days, afternoons, nights, weekends, overtime and shutdowns as required

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work. Our foremen are expected to solve problems, make decisions in the field, lead by example and keep jobs moving.

This is a working foreman position. You will be expected to work alongside your crew when required, not simply supervise from the sidelines.

Our work is fast-paced and schedules can change quickly based on customer requirements. As a 24/7 industrial contractor, flexibility is an important part of the position.

Job Type: Full-time Location: Cambridge, Ontario, with travel to customer sites throughout Ontario
