Pediatric Home Care Nurse (RN/RPN)

Part-Time Opportunity – Weekday Daytime Hours

Living Grace Home Care & Wellness Inc. is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and confident Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to provide one-on-one support for a young pediatric client in a family home setting.

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide individualized, family-centered care while supporting the child's health, comfort, mobility, development, and daily routines. The successful nurse will work closely with the family and become a consistent and trusted part of the child's care team.

Schedule

- Monday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Tuesday: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Thursday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Some scheduling flexibility may be available for the right candidate

Pediatric and home care experience are assets but not required. Family-provided training will be available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

- Support with feeding routines
- Medication administration
- Personal hygiene and daily care
- Stretching, positioning, and prescribed exercises
- Application of leg braces and supportive devices
- Assistance with mobility and adaptive equipment, including walker and stander
- Monitoring for spasticity and changes in condition
- Supporting comfort, safety, mobility, and development
- Assisting with established nap and daily routines
- Ongoing nursing assessment and documentation
- Collaboration and communication with family
- Providing respite and support to the family
- Accompanying the client and family to appointments as required

Qualifications Required

- Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Current CPR Certification
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willing to obtain




- Professional Liability Protection (PLP)
- Ability to work independently in a home care environment
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Dependable and able to provide consistent availability
- Comfortable working collaboratively within established family routines
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and maintain valid authorization to work for the duration of their employment

Assets

- Pediatric nursing experience
- Home care nursing experience
- Experience supporting children with physical or medical complexities
- Experience with mobility and adaptive equipment
- Experience with respiratory monitoring
- French-speaking ability (preferred but not required)
- Local or within a reasonable commuting distance
