- The candidate will be responsible for applying theoretical knowledge to the assessment, interpretation, planning, and implementation of health care services for clients with physical or mental health conditions.
- The candidate will be responsible for conducting onsite visits with injured workers, at worksites, and with external service providers of clinical programs to review services being provided for injured workers.
- The candidate will be responsible for providing clinical support during team meetings.
- The candidate will be responsible for overseeing complex physical or mental health claims through the implementation and monitoring of return to work plans.
- The candidate will be responsible for continuously collaborating with all external stakeholders to support stay-at-work programs, early intervention, and return to work planning.
- The candidate will be responsible for delivering education sessions as needed to internal and external audiences, including employers.

Job Requirements

- The candidate must hold a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and maintain current registration in valuable standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.




- The candidate must have a minimum of six years of clinical OT experience in practical areas such as physical health, neurology, mental health, brain injury, amputation, or spinal cord injury.
- The candidate will be required to travel throughout the province to support services provided to injured workers.
- The candidate must hold a valid B.C. driver’s license.
- The candidate must prioritize, plan, and organize a challenging and variable workload independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- The candidate will build and maintain trusting and cooperative working relationships with individuals and organizations in an environment that can be adversarial.
- The candidate must educate, consult, and motivate others while serving as a resource to co-workers.
- The candidate must develop and present education sessions and programs.
- The candidate must confirm that they are legally entitled to work in Canada.

Security and safety

- The candidate must successfully meet the legal requirements under the Criminal Records Review Act to work with children and/or vulnerable adults.
