Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Oil Burner Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining oil-burning equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Duties

- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on oil burners, boilers, and related heating equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify root causes
- Conduct maintenance tasks including cleaning, adjusting, and replacing components such as valves, pumps, and ignition systems
- Weld or modify parts as needed to ensure proper operation and safety standards are met
- Collaborate with plumbing teams to address water and fuel line issues associated with heating systems
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and system diagrams for accurate repairs




- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical repair

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an Oil Burner Mechanic or in a similar mechanical maintenance role with a focus on boiler systems
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, appliance repair, and construction experience related to heating equipment
- Knowledge of heating system and combustion principles
- Skilled in welding, plumbing, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately
- Familiarity with boiler operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols
- Mechanical knowledge of fuel delivery systems and ignition components is essential
- Prior experience working with schematics and technical drawings is highly desirable
