Operations Coordinator – Transportation & Fleet Operations

Kalum Kabs Ltd. is seeking a motivated and dependable Operations Coordinator to support our growing transportation operations across Northwest British Columbia.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys coordinating people, vehicles, schedules, customers, and operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $55,000–$62,000 CAD annually, depending on experience

Employment: Full time, permanent

Location: Terrace, BC – On-site

Reports to: Fleet Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Coordinate daily taxi and shuttle operations.
- Assist with driver scheduling and shift coverage.
- Coordinate vehicle assignments and availability.
- Communicate with drivers regarding schedules and operational requirements.
- Coordinate airport transfers, corporate transportation, and pre-booked services.
- Support dispatch operations and resolve service disruptions.
- Respond to driver call-outs and last-minute operational changes.
- Communicate professionally with customers and corporate clients.




- Maintain accurate operational records and reports.
- Support driver performance, attendance, and operational reporting.
- Work closely with the Fleet Manager and management team.
- Support company safety procedures and transportation requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve service, communication, and operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

- We are looking for someone with strong organizational, communication, and decision‑making skills.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, fleet management, operations, hospitality, or customer service is considered an asset.
- Previous coordination or supervisory experience is also an asset.
- The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently, handling multiple priorities, and responding to changing operational requirements.
- Due to the nature of the transportation industry, some flexibility and occasional after‑hours support may be required.
