Outside Sales Consultant — Home Improvement

You've already learned how to sell.

You know how to walk into a meeting, build credibility, ask the right questions, understand what really matters to the customer, communicate value, overcome objections and ask for the business.

We're looking for that person.

Dream Spaces is expanding across the GTA and looking for an experienced Outside Sales Consultant to turn company-generated, pre-booked appointments into customers.

No cold calling. No prospecting for your own appointments. And no previous kitchen or cabinetry experience required.

Your Sales Experience Can Come From Somewhere Else

Some of the skills that make a great salesperson transfer extremely well between industries.

You may currently be selling:

- Automotive
- Windows and doors
- Kitchens
- HVAC
- Flooring
- Roofing
- Renovations
- Furniture
- Luxury products
- Financial services
- Other high-ticket products or services

We're less interested in what you've sold than in your ability to demonstrate how successfully you've sold it.

The Opportunity

Dream Spaces designs, manufactures and installs custom kitchens, closets, home offices, pantries, Murphy beds and other cabinetry solutions.

We generate the leads.

We book the appointments.

You bring the sales ability.

You'll meet homeowners throughout your assigned GTA territory and lead the sales consultation from discovery through presentation and close.

You'll learn our products, measuring process, cabinetry fundamentals and Mozaik design software so you can turn a customer's needs into a personalized solution.

This isn't an order-taking position. We're looking for someone who wants to close.

What You'll Learn From Us

Previous kitchen, cabinetry or interior-design experience is not required.

We'll train the right salesperson in:

- Custom cabinetry
- Kitchens and closets
- Measuring
- Design fundamentals
- Mozaik design software
- Pricing and presenting solutions
- Our in-home sales process
- Dream Spaces products and options

You bring the ability to sell. We'll help you develop the technical side.

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of successful sales experience preferred
- Demonstrated history of closing business and achieving sales targets
- Outside, in-home, commission, consultative or high-ticket sales experience is a strong asset
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Confidence discussing substantial purchases
- Competitive and self-motivated
- Organized with strong follow-through
- Coachable and interested in getting better
- Comfortable learning technology and technical information
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel regularly throughout your assigned GTA territory

Compensation Expected total annual compensation: $50,000–$100,000

Compensation includes

$36,000 annual base salary + commission + performance bonuses + sales incentives

Our senior designers earned approximately $75,000–$100,000 last year, with our top designer earning more than $100,000.

Individual earnings vary based on sales performance.

Territory & Schedule

You'll serve homeowners throughout the GTA, including Vaughan, York Region and Mississauga.

This is a field-based role involving regular travel and in-home customer appointments. Weekend availability is required.

Specific territory assignments, working days and appointment expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Paid Training

Your start with Dream Spaces includes five days of paid training at our Barrie office from October 5–9, 2026.

You'll learn our products, sales process, measuring, cabinetry fundamentals, design principles, pricing and Mozaik software.
