Ship PFL Canada Inc. is an asset-based dry van carrier running Canada-wide and cross-border US freight. We're looking for experienced Owner Operators to join our fleet on a competitive 80/20 revenue split, with consistent freight and support from a growing, founder-led company.

Job Overview

We are seeking motivated Owner Operators — Dry Van to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will operate your own commercial vehicle to transport freight efficiently and safely across various routes. This position offers the chance to work independently while being supported by a company that values your professionalism and dedication. Your expertise in freight handling, heavy equipment operation, and vehicle maintenance will be essential to delivering exceptional service.

Duties

- Safely operate your own dry van truck to transport freight across designated routes within Canada and the U.S.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational readiness.
- Manage freight documentation accurately, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or any issues encountered during transit.




- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to maintain vehicle performance and minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities for record-keeping purposes.

Compensation Structure:

- Owner Operator receives 80% of gross revenue per load
- Company retains 20%
- From the Owner Operator's 80% share, the following are deducted: insurance, parking, plates, toll charges (e.g. 407 ETR), and logbook/ELD charges
- Fuel is covered by the Owner Operator
