Overview

Complete Carpentry Services is looking for a skilled, reliable Painter to join our team. You will work on a variety of construction and renovation projects, completing surface preparation, painting, and finishing to a high standard. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and works well both independently and with others.

Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling, and caulking as required.
- Protect floors, fixtures, furnishings, and adjacent surfaces before work begins.
- Apply primers, paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Complete minor drywall patching and surface repairs
- Follow product instructions for surface preparation, application, and drying times.
- Inspect completed work and address deficiencies or touch-ups.
- Safely use and maintain painting equipment, hand tools, power tools, ladders, and access equipment.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to meet project schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow company safety procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

- Valid driver's license
- Previous experience in residential, commercial, or industrial painting.




- Strong knowledge of surface preparation, paint products, and application techniques.
- Ability to produce clean lines, even coverage, and consistent finishes.
- Experience with drywall repairs, patching, sanding, and caulking.
- Basic math skills to measure areas and estimate material quantities.
- Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting materials, standing for extended periods, and working at heights with appropriate safety measures.
- Reliable attendance, a positive attitude, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
