We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter/Labourer to join our dynamic painting team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. As a key member of our crew, you will assist with surface preparation, painting, and general labour duties to ensure high-quality finishes and efficient project completion.

Duties

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paint, stain, or sealant using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment across diverse environments such as residential homes, commercial buildings, or industrial facilities
- Assist with drywall repair, and finishing to support project timelines
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various tasks
- Support with caulking, sealing joints, and other finishing touches to achieve professional-quality results
- Maintain a clean work setting by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly




- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate progress or issues clearly to supervisors

Qualifications

- Prior painting experience is highly preferred; familiarity with restoration, staining, or plastering is a plus
- Experience with residential or commercial painting techniques
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and rigging equipment safely
- Strong communication skills for working within a team and interacting with clients when necessary
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently in all work environments
- Physical stamina to stand, lift heavy materials, climb ladders or scaffolding, and perform manual labour throughout the day
