As a Painter Helper, you will assist experienced painters in preparing surfaces, handling tools, and ensuring quality finishes.

Responsibilities

- Assist with surface preparation including sanding, cleaning, and caulking to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Support painters in applying primer, paint, and finishes on various surfaces such as walls, ceilings, and fixtures
- Handle hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during painting and carpentry tasks
- Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, rigging, and protective coverings to ensure safety and efficiency
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and ensure accurate application of paint and finishes
- Assist with drywall installation, repair, and restoration projects to improve surface quality before painting
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas by disposing of debris, cleaning tools,



and organizing materials regularly

Skills

- Construction experience with a focus on painting or related trades such as carpentry or drywall installation
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics to follow project instructions accurately
- Familiarity with hand tools (brushes, rollers), power tools (drills, sanders), and rigging equipment
- Understanding of caulking procedures for sealing gaps and joints effectively
- Experience with restoration projects involving drywall repairs or surface prep
- Solid communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and contractors
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently
- Customer service orientation when interacting with clients or site visitors
