Join our Breakfast team at Miki's Breakfast and Sushi and bring your energy and hospitality to our morning dining experience! In this role, you will be the friendly face greeting guests, taking their orders, making their drinks and delivering exceptional service that makes every breakfast memorable, while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive for breakfast service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Serve food and drinks promptly
- Manage cash handling and payment responsibilities accurately
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, tables, and bathrooms in accordance with sanitation standards
Requirements
- Must be 19 years or older (must be legally able to pour alcohol)
- "Serving It Right" Certificate - our liquor license starts at 9 am!
- Must be able to work alone during the early opening shifts
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred
- Must be physically able to be on your feet for hours at a time
- Vehicle or ability to be at work for a 5 am shift, there are no busses this early
- MUST BE AVAILABLE MOTHERS DAY AN FATHERS DAY as these are our busiest days
Shifts we need you for:
- Fridays, from 6:30 until approx. 11 am
- Saturdays and Sundays, from 7 am until approx. 11 am
- 1 opening shift per week AFTER training. These are 5 am to 11:30 am shifts!
Please Note: More shifts will become available during Winter Break and during the seasonal summer rush. Also willing to cross train the right person for working the lunch and dinner menu! Join us to deliver memorable breakfast experiences through creative dining that supports our local suppliers!
