We are seeking a Part-Time Clinical Assistant to join our busy clinic in Kitchener.

Shifts:

Thursdays 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

Other Shifts As Needed (Covering Vacation, Sick Days, Clinic Need, Etc)

Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Cleaning and setup of the treatment rooms, sterilization of instruments, and maintaining podiatric equipment
- Facilitating clinic workflow by bringing patients to rooms and communicating with practitioners and other staff members
- Assisting with therapeutic modalities (i.e., shockwave, ultrasound, laser)
- Assisting with the proper setup of rooms for routine and surgical procedures
- May assist with answering the phones and emails, confirming next-day appointments
- May assist with maintaining and updating patient records, scanning documents into patient files
- May assist with ordering supplies and receiving incoming shipments
- May assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining practitioner schedules
- Greeting and signing in patients when they enter the clinic
- May assist with managing billing for patients and their insurance companies
- Other duties as required

This position is a focus on clinic assistant duties,



where you may have to assist at the front desk from time to time.

- Willingness to perform a wide variety of duties
- Proficient in computer and technology use, including Microsoft Office, emails, scanners, printers, etc.
