Part-Time Sunday Commercial Cleaner

Lumina Building Services is hiring two dependable, professional part time cleaners for a high-profile institutional facility in Victoria, BC.

This is a regular Sunday position of approximately 4 hours per week, starting October 4, 2026, with the possibility of additional relief or future hours as opportunities become available.

We are looking for people who take pride in their work, communicate well, follow instructions carefully, and can be trusted to work professionally in a client environment where reliability, discretion and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine commercial cleaning and sanitation according to established site procedures and quality standards
- Clean and maintain washrooms, common areas, offices and other assigned spaces
- Vacuum, sweep and mop floors as required
- Empty waste and recycling and replace liners
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces
- Restock designated washroom and facility supplies
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and appropriately
- Follow site-specific security, access and confidentiality requirements
- Identify and report maintenance concerns, damage, supply shortages or unusual conditions
- Complete assigned duties within the scheduled shift
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Dependable transportation to and from the work location
- Commercial cleaning or custodial experience is an asset, but not required for the right candidate
- Site-specific training will be provided

Schedule & Compensation

- Part-time
- Sundays
- Approximately 4 hours per week
- $22.00 per hour
- Expected start date: October 4, 2026
- Two positions available

Additional relief assignments or hours may become available based on operational requirements and future growth.

Screening

Because of the nature of the client environment, successful candidates will be required to complete a criminal record/background check and satisfy applicable site-access requirements before placement.
