PART-TIME CLASS 5 TOW OPERATOR

About the Position

We are looking for a reliable and responsible Class 5 Tow Operator to join our team in Prince George. This is a part-time evening position, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, providing excellent customer service, and handling a variety of roadside and towing situations.

Responsibilities

- Operate tow trucks safely and professionally
- Respond to towing, roadside assistance, and vehicle recovery calls
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles
- Complete required paperwork and electronic/log book entries
- Provide courteous and professional service to customers
- Perform vehicle inspections and ensure equipment is properly maintained
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records and comply with applicable transportation regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and office staff
- Keep the tow truck clean, organized, and in good working condition

Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Clean and acceptable driver's abstract
- Previous towing or roadside assistance experience is an asset
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable,



punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working evenings and responding to a variety of calls
- Able to safely handle vehicle recovery and towing equipment
- Must be willing to complete any required company training

Important Employment Requirement To comply with applicable hours-of-service and log book requirements, applicants cannot currently be employed as a driver for another company where their driving hours would need to be considered in their regulated driving/work-hour records. Applicants must be able to accurately report and maintain all required hours and log book information.

5:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Additional hours may be available from time to time depending on operational requirements.
