Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Help maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines while working in the kitchen.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cook or food preparation role within the food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Able to work morning and mid day shifts NO Evenings or Holidays
- A passion for cooking and a desire to learn new culinary skills.
