Overview

Genie Senior Services helps seniors and their families through one of the biggest transitions of their lives, moving from a family home into a new living environment. This is hands on, physical work, and it is also people work. You will be in emotional and sometimes sensitive situations, so patience, respect and good communication matter as much as strength.

What you will do:

- Carry and move furniture and heavy boxes, often with a teammate
- Load and unload a trailer and truck safely
- Move items up and down stairs and through tight spaces
- Pack household items carefully
- Set up new homes so they feel comfortable and organized
- Treat every client with patience and professionalism

Physical requirements:

- Regularly lift 50 to 75 lbs and safely handle heavier items with a teammate
- Stand, walk, bend and climb stairs for 4 to 8 hours
- Work in all seasons and on job sites of all sizes

What we’re looking for:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Friendly, patient and compassionate personality.
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
- Availability on weekdays, with some Saturdays as needed
- Ability to safely lift and move boxes and light furniture.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.





Typical hours:

- Most jobs occur Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
- Some flexibility required depending on job needs.
- Shifts are 4 to 8 hours and hours vary week to week
- Occasional Saturday work (with weekday time off).
