Part-Time Property Maintenance Helper La Roma Motel – Edmundston / Saint-Basile, NB

Location: Saint-Basile (Edmundston), New Brunswick

La Roma Motel is looking for a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Property Maintenance Helper to assist with the general upkeep and maintenance of our motel property.

This is a hands-on position involving a variety of indoor and outdoor tasks. We are looking for someone who is reliable, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

- Assist with minor maintenance and general repairs
- Landscaping, lawn care, and outdoor property cleanup
- Help maintain the overall appearance and condition of the motel property
- Assist with seasonal work and winterizing the property
- Move furniture, mattresses, supplies, and other items as required
- Clean and organize storage rooms and maintenance areas
- Assist with general property cleanup
- Help with small maintenance and improvement projects
- Identify and report maintenance issues around the property
- Perform other general property-related duties as required





Qualifications
- Must be able to speak and understand English
- Bilingual English/French is an asset
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
- Comfortable performing physical and outdoor work
- Able to safely lift and move furniture and supplies
- Basic maintenance or handyman skills are preferred
- Previous experience in maintenance, landscaping, construction, hotels, or property management is an asset
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work

We are willing to consider someone without extensive experience if they are dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable with hands-on work.

Compensation

$16.00 per hour
