Job Summary

Join our vibrant team as a Part-time Sales Associate and become a key contributor to creating an engaging shopping experience for our customers. Our customers are the heart of what we do, and we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys talking with people, building relationships, and helping customers find the right products for their pets.

You will spend your day connecting with Pet Parents, learning about their pets and their needs, offering knowledgeable product recommendations and creating an experience that makes customers want to come back and see you.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and actively assist them in selecting products related to gardening, landscaping, and outdoor maintenance
- Provide detailed product knowledge on horticulture supplies, landscape tools, and merchandising displays
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, including merchandising displays and gardening sections
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and accurate record-keeping
- Offer exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, providing product recommendations, and resolving issues promptly




- Assist with e-commerce orders and facilitate smooth online-to-store customer experiences when needed

Requirements

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Basic proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures
- Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, landscape maintenance, or related fields is highly desirable
- Multilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse customer needs
- Robust communication skills with an energetic approach to engaging customers
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks such as stocking shelves or setting up displays

Expected hours: No less than 15.0 per week
