Truckline Parts & Service is currently seeking and has an immediate opening for a Parts Counter Sales Staff. We are a 100% locally owned and operated company that supplies parts and provides service for heavy duty trucks and trailers. We also provide parts to customers in all other aspects of the transportation industry.

Our Parts staff source and sell to customers, and assist customers with a wide range of parts questions.

Duties Include:

- Sale of parts to customers at the sales counter and by phone.
- Assist with a wide range of customer questions and problems. Clarify customer needs that will help to locate the required parts.
- Research, locate and order non-stock parts for immediate sale.
- Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to customers.
- Build ongoing relationships with customers.
- Pick orders accurately and efficiently. Accuracy is critical.
- Maintain stock levels in the front show room.
- Perform other duties as required. Provide occasional coverage in the shipping department.

Key Skills:

- Experience in the Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer industry is preferred, however we will consider other parts experience and will train for our products as required. Product knowledge and previous experience in the parts industry is required.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving are necessary skills. Must be comfortable using a computer. Able to use schematics and catalog systems to identify the right parts or be willing to learn.




- Desire and ability to consistently provide excellent customer service.
- Able to multitask during busy periods while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Accurate, detail oriented, self-motivated, and a desire to learn.
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to meet physical demands such as moderate lifting, and standing for long periods of time.

Hours and Start Date: Expected start date: as soon as the successful candidate is available. Hours are Mon. to Fri. 8:00 to 4:30 and must work 1 in 5 Saturdays.
