Duties

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to support their independence and dignity
- Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication-related activities
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, ensuring safety and enjoyment during mealtime
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe, organized living environment
- Support clients with mobility exercises or transfers using proper techniques to prevent injury
- Follow care plans meticulously, documenting observations, changes in condition, or concerns for team review

Qualifications





- Proven experience working as a Personal Support Worker or in similar caregiving roles, preferably with assisted living or nursing home settings
- Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including dementia care expertise
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Robust caregiving skills with a compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent credential is preferred; ongoing training in dementia care or home care is a plus
