Pike's Pharmacy is a community retail pharmacy Charlottetown seeking a reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small, patient-focused pharmacy from the start.
This role provides vital support to pharmacists and ensures the smooth operation of pharmacy services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with medical terminology.
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and workflow
- Enter and manage prescriptions using the Kroll pharmacy system
- Support regular prescription packaging and PacMed maintenance
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the dispensary and pharmacy
- Assist customers and support front store operations
- Perform inventory and general pharmacy assistant duties as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant is preferred
- MUST have experience working with Kroll
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience working with PacMed & PacVision would be an asset
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a small team workplace
- Must be available to work weekends
