Professional Medical Pharmacy is a patient-focused community pharmacy in Mississauga, dedicated to providing excellent healthcare services. We are looking for a dependable and experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions using Kroll Pharmacy Software
- Process third-party billing, insurance claims, and patient transactions
- Perform blister packaging and prescription processing with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain inventory, manage stock levels, and assist with ordering
- Provide professional and friendly customer service in person and over the phone
- Support pharmacists with daily workflow, compliance, and documentation
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Kroll software
- Proven experience with blister packaging and prescription processing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Preferred: Candidates who live nearby or have reliable transportation
- Language Skills: Hindi and/or Gujarati speaking considered a solid asset
