We are looking to hire a phlebotomist for new community laboratory. We will be accepting walk-ins for blood draws and urine samples on Mondays to Fridays from 8am to 4:30pm and Saturdays 8am to 12pm.

Preference is for candidates who have previous experience working in community laboratory.

Responsibilities

- Collect, label, sort and prepare blood and urine samples from from patients
- Be comfortable working with adult and pediatrics patients
- Verifying patient information before taking samples
- Properly labeling the medical specimen for pickup by the lab
- Clean and maintain medical laboratory and medical laboratory equipment

Qualifications

- Robust patient care skills with a focus on pediatric populations
- Proficient in phlebotomy techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to laboratory settings
- Familiarity with laboratory protocols and practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Experience

- phlebotomy: 1 year (preferred)
