Injury is looking for a dedicated and motivated physiotherapy assistant to join our Transcona team. The ideal candidate will work under the direct supervision of a certified physiotherapist to deliver high-quality physical therapy care to patients, as well as assist with office administration. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and contribute to improving patients' well-being.

Available hours: M/W/F, days/evenings, approx: 12 - 24 hrs/week

What you will do:

- Demonstrate exercise routines and proper use of equipment for clients
- Assist physiotherapist with patient treatment: apply heat and ice packs; removing modalities;
- Perform reception duties, data entry, answer phone calls, and other administrative functions
- Promote client safety by maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Maintain inventory of physical therapy supplies (check stock, place orders, receive supplies)
- Maintain client records and confidentiality of patient and company information

Must haves:

- Obtained or currently pursuing degree in kinesiology or diploma from a physiotherapy assistant program
- 1+ years of experience in an office environment




- Experience with teaching exercises with knowledge base and attention to technical detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain effective relationships with clients and staff
- Detail oriented and self-motivated with strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Physical fitness

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 24.0 per week
