Aspexx Physiotherapy is looking for a Physiotherapy Assistant
Qualification
- Completion of an undergraduate program in Kinesiology / PTA / Athletic Therapy or equivalent an asset.
- Have experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Strong team player
- Great communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow with our multidisciplinary clinic
- Working knowledge of Universal EMR
Responsibilities includes
- Conducts individual and group therapy sessions under the direction of the Physiotherapist and/or Chiropractor.
- Monitors and progresses patient’s therapy program as needed within the range directed by the Physiotherapist and/or Chiropractor.
- Supervises exercise programs as assigned by the Physiotherapist and/or Chiropractor.
- Positions patients and performs range of motion exercises directed and assigned by the Physiotherapist and/or Chiropractor.
- Assembles and installs assistive technology and devices and trains patients in their use under the direction of the Physiotherapist and/or Chiropractor.
- Provides assistance to the Physiotherapist and/or Chiropractor. during treatment.
- Transports patients to and from the therapy area.
Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
