Piano Instructor to teach students of all ages from 4 years and up to discover the joy of music through piano playing.
Duties
- Design and deliver piano lessons tailored to each student’s skill level, interests, parents goals for the students and learning style
- Incorporate music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and technique into lessons
- Prepare students for recitals, exams, or performances to showcase their progress
- Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, attendance, and student development
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about student achievements
Experience
- Minimum RCM Level 7 or 8 Piano and Music Theory qualified
- Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Education is preferred
- Proven teaching experience in teaching piano to students of various ages & skill levels
- Robust background in education principles applied within music instruction
This is a part time paid opportunity designed to help you share your passion for music while making a positive difference in students’ lives. Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 2.0 per week
