We are seeking experienced Plow Truck Operators to service residential and commercial clients throughout Thunder Bay. There is the option of continuing with us in the spring/summer based on winter performance.
Position Details:
- Hours: On-call during snowfalls, typically 10- 14 hour shifts between 12 AM - 2PM and occasional daytime coverage. This can vary depending on the snowfall and start times can be delayed by up to 6 hours.
- Compensation: starting at $30 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Overtime per ESA standards.
- Start Date: November 15, 2026
- Location: Thunder Bay and surrounding area
Responsibilities:
- Operate company plow trucks to clear lots, laneways, and private driveways
- Shovelling entrances, pathways and decks.
- Apply salt/ice-melt as directed
- Complete route logs and follow dispatch instructions
- Ensure safety of equipment and properties serviced
- ATTENTION TO DETAIL is a must! We want individuals who strive for perfection.
Qualifications:
- Previous plow truck or heavy equipment experience preferred
- Valid G licence required
- Ability to work long shifts during storms and be available on short notice
- Strong reliability and safety awareness
