Role Description The Plumbing Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Kawartha Lakes, ON, responsible for overseeing day-to-day plumbing operations and leading a team of plumbing technicians. This role includes planning and assigning work orders, supervising installations, repairs, and maintenance, and ensuring all projects comply with applicable codes, safety standards, and company procedures.

The Plumbing

Manager will monitor job progress, manage materials and inventory, and coordinate with other trades as needed, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities. The role also involves responding to customer inquiries, resolving service issues, supporting estimates and proposals, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.

Manager will be expected to maintain accurate documentation, support training and development of team members, and provide regular performance and status reports to leadership.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, scheduling, mentoring, and performance management.
- Candidates should possess advanced plumbing skills, including installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance for residential and commercial systems.
- Candidates should possess customer service and customer satisfaction skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and resolve issues professionally.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) knowledge to coordinate effectively with other trades and ensure integrated building systems performance.
- Relevant trade certification or license in plumbing (or eligibility to obtain) is preferred.
- Experience in managing field operations, job costing, and resource planning is beneficial.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in plumbing and construction is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site across various locations in Kawartha Lakes, ON.
