Key Roles and Responsibilities

Researcher in Hydrometallurgy, or Separation Sciences and/

- Research: Separation & Processing Sciences: REE, Li, Au, Ni, Co, critical and battery materials, ceramics.
- Perform process engineering tasks on Hydrometallurgical aspects of projects, in a variety of commodities.
- Design of experiment to meet requirements of proposed program.
- Analysis of data, communicate and determination of direction of testing program.
- Upon completion of the program, analyze and present the data in a format suitable for presentation in a final report.
- Project Management
- Eligible for MITACS support

Qualifications and Experience
- Recently completed a Ph.D.



within the last 5 years in materials science & engineering, chemical engineering
- Experience in scoping and management of metallurgical testwork programs (benchscale, pilot scale, on-site testing)
- Hands-on experience; experimental work
