Position: Product Integrity Technician

Position Summary:

The Product Integrity Technician will work in collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, Product Management and all stakeholders to respond to, investigate, and report on product performance issues as identified by our client base.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

- Work closely with the Product Integrity and Quality Assurance team members within Burmac Road and Winkler plants to issue and track claims by our client base for return and evaluation of customer product issues. (including the investigation into and resolution thereof, in a positive manner to the benefit of our clients and our organization).
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to effectively write and communicate inspection reports and initiate corrective action submissions for review in a timely manner.
- Work directly with the RGA/Warranty department to oversee inspections performed to write accurate detailed reports.
- Prioritize and coordinate tasks related to Product Integrity issues and their resolution.




- Conduct all activities and execute all duties with enthusiasm and a positive, results-focused attitude.
- Support company initiatives and policies enthusiastically.

Education Required:

- The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering Technology education; post-secondary education in a mechanical discipline or equivalent experience will be considered.
- Applicants with an understanding of hydraulic cylinders and/or fluid power background preferred.

Experience Required:

- Advanced English communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation) required for direct interaction with worldwide customers.
- Root Cause Analysis and 8D problem solving are essential to this position.
- Practical “hands on” manufacturing experience specific to metals machining, welding, and hydraulic component production are an asset.
- Strong organizational skills are a requirement to be successful in this position.

Skills and Attributes Required:

- High level of initiative – Ability to take action and complete tasks with minimal direct oversight.
- Proven time management and personal organization skills while working on tasks with a track record of completion within set timelines.
- Dependability & Work Ethic - Demonstrating transparency, accountability, and consistent punctuality.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably within metals machining, welding and hydraulic component / systems preferred.
- Proficient with Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and other common applications.
- Proven commitment to continuous improvement, personally and professionally.
- Salesforce and ERP systems knowledge an asset.
