Marvel Sign & Display Inc.

Marvel Sign & Display is looking for a dependable, hands-on person to join our production team.

This is a practical build-and-assemble position. The work is similar to light construction or assembly-line production: measuring, cutting, drilling, fastening, gluing and assembling components to build finished products.

You do not need to be a licensed tradesperson. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, comfortable using tools, takes pride in their work and can follow instructions consistently.

What You'll Be Doing

- Assemble products and components using drawings, samples and work instructions
- Measure, mark, cut, drill and fasten materials
- Use hand tools and basic power tools
- Install screws, bolts, brackets, hardware and other components
- Apply adhesives, tapes and other fastening systems
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks efficiently and consistently
- Check dimensions and workmanship as you build
- Keep your workstation organized and materials properly handled
- Work with other members of our production team to complete jobs on schedule
- Assist with general shop and production work as required

We're Looking for Someone Who
- Enjoys building and assembling things
- Is comfortable working with their hands
- Can accurately use a tape measure
- Has experience with basic hand and power tools




- Can follow instructions and repeat a process consistently
- Pays attention to quality and small details
- Works at a steady, productive pace
- Is dependable and shows up ready to work
- Can work independently once trained
- Is willing to learn new tools and production processes

Experience Previous experience in any of the following would be helpful:

Manufacturing, assembly, construction, carpentry, cabinet making, fixture/display manufacturing, general fabrication, warehouse production or similar hands-on work.

Sign industry experience is not required.

We are more interested in finding someone with good mechanical ability, reliability and the right work habits than someone with a specific background.

Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
