About the role

Hollis+Morris is looking for a highly organized Production Associate to own production coordination across Trade Shows, Custom Projects, and Shop Operations. Working closely with our Production Manager and Design Director, you'll keep schedules, drawing packages, and standard product documentation accurate and moving through the shop, across Assembly, Woodshop, Inventory, and Shipping.

This role is for someone who takes ownership of keeping production on track: sourcing materials, following up with suppliers, keeping drawing packages, BOMs, and build documentation current, and troubleshooting problems as they come up, without needing to be managed step by step.

What you'll do

- Source, order, and follow up on materials and components with suppliers, owning delivery timelines end to end
- Coordinate custom product requests with the Production Manager — specs, scheduling, and fabrication handoffs through to delivery
- Own the accuracy and version control of standard product drawings, specs, and BOMs
- Produce and maintain shop drawings, build notes, and assembly guidance so the floor always works from the current, correct version
- Step in to support production floor operations when the Production Manager is away
- Troubleshoot early-run and recurring production issues while protecting design intent
- Maintain and enforce SOPs and documentation standards, flagging discrepancies between drawings, specs, and as-built product
- Own trade show logistics — ensuring products, samples, and materials are ordered, built, assembled, and crated on schedule




- Coordinate scheduling and logistics with internal teams and external vendors

What you bring

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a shop, fabrication, or manufacturing environment, with demonstrated ability to coordinate production schedules and documentation independently
- Comfortable calling suppliers, following up, and owning outcomes
- Hands-on fabrication skills in woodworking and/or metalworking is a strong asset
- Ability to read, interpret, and precisely execute from shop drawings, specifications, and BOMs
- Familiarity with 3D modelling software (Rhino, SolidWorks, SketchUp)
- Robust organizational habits and attention to detail
