Production & Fabrication Technician

3D Printing | Mold Making | Concrete mudd.concrete is looking for a meticulous, mechanically minded person to join our production team full-time.

We design and manufacture handcrafted concrete sinks using a combination of 3D printing, custom mold making, concrete casting, and hands-on finishing. We're looking for someone who enjoys figuring out how things are made, working with their hands, and producing work to a high standard.

This is a varied role. You'll work across the production process, from 3D-printed models and mold preparation through to concrete casting and finishing.

What you'll be doing

- Operating and maintaining 3D printers
- Preparing, sanding, filling, and finishing 3D-printed models
- Spray painting and finishing models to create high-quality mold surfaces
- Preparing models for mould making
- Making and working with rubber/silicone molds
- Building and preparing forms and production tooling
- Mixing and preparing concrete
- Pouring, casting, demolding, and finishing concrete products
- Grinding, sanding, polishing, and repairing concrete surfaces
- Inspecting models, moulds, and finished products for accuracy and quality
- Troubleshooting production issues and helping develop practical solutions
- Following measurements, specifications, and production drawings
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and an organized and safe workspace
- Working independently as part of a small production team

Experience that would be an asset Experience in any of the following would be useful:

- 3D printing
- Concrete casting or finishing
- Rubber or silicone mold making
- Spray painting or automotive/body finishing
- Fiberglass or composite fabrication
- Sculpting, model making, or prototyping
- CNC, machining, woodworking, or fabrication
- CAD or 3D modelling

You don't need experience in every area. Previous hands-on fabrication or production experience is preferred, but we're also interested in people with strong mechanical aptitude, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability and willingness to learn.

The position

Full-time or part-time | 25–40 hours/week | Monday–Friday

$25–$38/hour, depending on experience and technical capability

You’ll be joining a small, hands-on manufacturing team where the work is wide-ranging and quality matters. There is an opportunity to develop significant skills across 3D printing, model making, mould making, concrete casting, finishing, and fabrication.
