Weekend availablity

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the Production Department, overseeing daily operations, staffing, quality, safety, cost, materials, and equipment.
- Develop and execute production plans based on sales orders to ensure production targets and on-time delivery.
- Manage production processes in compliance with BRC food safety standards and company procedures to ensure product quality and food safety.
- Manage production staffing, scheduling, training, and performance to improve team efficiency and execution.
- Ensure workplace safety through employee training, equipment safeguards, routine inspections, and corrective actions.
- Control production costs and drive continuous improvement through labor optimization, waste reduction, process improvement, and efficiency initiatives.




- Oversee inventory and material management to ensure adequate supply of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials.
- Oversee production equipment and facility maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure reliable operations.
- Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities to reduce waste and operating costs.
- Track and analyze production data, including output, efficiency, waste, and costs, to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- 5+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- 10+ years of leadership or management experience in a related industry.
- Strong experience in production management, team leadership, cost control, and cross-functional coordination.
- Experience in purchasing and budgeting is an asset.
- Experience with food safety and quality management systems, including BRC/GFSI, is preferred.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is preferred.
