Professional 5-Tonne G Class Commercial Driver

Location: Based near Bolton, Caledon, Brampton, or Mississauga, Ontario

We are looking for a professional, reliable, safety-focused 5-tonne commercial driver to join our team. The ideal candidate has proven commercial delivery experience, excellent customer service skills, robust attention to detail, and a clean driving history.

The successful candidate will be responsible for making deliveries safely and professionally while providing excellent customer service and accurately completing required paperwork.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate a 5-tonne commercial delivery truck.
- Complete local deliveries safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Operate a tailgate/liftgate for loading and unloading deliveries.
- Provide qualified and courteous customer service at every delivery.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, dispatch, and team members in English.
- Complete bills of lading, delivery confirmations, paperwork, and other documentation accurately.
- Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle.
- Use good judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while on the road.
- Handle products and deliveries carefully and professionally.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Represent the company professionally at customer locations.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence held for a minimum of 5 years.
- Verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Previous experience operating a 5-tonne truck.
- Experience with tailgate/liftgate deliveries.




- Previous commercial delivery experience.
- Clean and current driver's abstract.
- No criminal record / satisfactory criminal background check.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately.
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, punctual, professional, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery responsibilities efficiently.
- Must be comfortable with the physical requirements of commercial deliveries.

Location Requirement Candidates should be based in or reasonably close to Bolton, Caledon, Brampton, or Mississauga, Ontario, as the position involves local-area deliveries.
