Job Overview

We are looking for an energetic and dedicated Public Speaking Teacher / DECA Coach to empower students in developing their communication skills, confidence, and leadership abilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to mentor students in public speaking, debate, and competitive business events, fostering their personal growth and academic success.

Responsibilities

- Prepare engaging lessons and practical exercises.
- Help students organize ideas and deliver clear, confident presentations.
- Guide DECA students through business scenarios, timed preparation, and professional responses.
- Conduct mock presentations and competitions with individualized feedback.
- Track student progress and communicate with parents.

Requirements





- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Public speaking applicants: Ability to teach speech structure, persuasive speaking, storytelling, vocal delivery, body language, and impromptu speaking.
- DECA applicants: Knowledge of business concepts and experience with case analysis, role-plays, and competition preparation.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and support students at different skill levels.
- Patient, reliable, and passionate about teaching.
- Teaching, coaching, or relevant competition experience is an asset
