Position Summary: Reporting to the Clinical Team Manager – Public Health, the Public Health Nurse applies public health sciences and nursing theory to promote, protect and preserve the health of populations.

Public Health

Nurses strive to improve the health of all people and reduce inequities among populations by addressing the determinants of health and promoting equitable health outcomes.

Health services are directed to individuals, families, groups and communities in a continuum across the life span.
