We are currently looking for a full-time Quality Control Inspector (morning shift, 3 months contract, with the possibility of being extended ) to join our team for our Toronto manufacturing plant (the closest main intersection is Victoria Park and Eglinton).

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Carries out visual and dimensional inspection on finished printed wiring flex/boards, stiffeners and adhesive materials.
2. Performing in-process visual inspection manually and with the Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) /Automated Optical Test (AOT) equipment to IPC requirements.
3. Accepts or rejects product based on customer, IPC, and military specifications.
4. Performs minor rework and/or repairs such as solder touch up, cleaning and deburring.
5. Package finished product according to traveler.
6. Completes nonconforming and damaged materials reports as required.
7. Completes inventory transfer records in the MRP system.
8. Follows all health and safety policies and procedures.
9. Wears personal protective equipment as prescribed.
10. Follows all Company policies and procedures.
11. Attends meetings as required and actively participates.
12. Carries out housekeeping duties in order to maintain a clean work area and department clean.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:





- 2–5 years of experience in versatile PCBs Inspection.
- Knowledge of MIL-P-50884, IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-600
- Sharp visual precision (with or without corrective lenses)
- Eligible for Controlled Goods Program (CGP) background check clearance

Working Conditions

- a combination of standing and sitting depending on the workstations (Inspection workstation and AOT workstation)
- Works with chemicals (isopropyl alcohol, when needed for touch-up cleaning)
- Works under tight deadlines
