We are seeking a dynamic and vigilant Range Officer to oversee the safety, security, and proper operation of our shooting ranges. In this role, you will be responsible for enforcing range rules, ensuring the safety of all participants, and maintaining a secure environment for both novice and experienced shooters. Your leadership skills will be vital in guiding users through proper firearm handling procedures while fostering a positive and disciplined atmosphere.

Responsibilities

- Monitor the range during operational hours to ensure adherence to safety protocols and range rules
- Guide and provide instruction on safe firearm handling, storage, and shooting techniques; creating a welcoming and fun environment for all clients.
- Enforce all safety regulations by conducting regular inspections of firearms, ammunition, and equipment before use
- Lead safety briefings for new users and address any unsafe behavior promptly and professionally
- Respond swiftly to emergencies or incidents on the range, coordinating with emergency services if necessary
- Maintain detailed records of range activities, incidents, and equipment inspections
- Foster a respectful environment by promoting responsible firearm use and positive interactions among participants




- Provide customer service and conduct retail transactions involving firearms, ammunition, memberships, and related products, while ensuring all required identification, licensing, documentation, and company procedures are followed.

Qualifications

- Proven experience all types of firearms
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse groups of individuals effectively
- Knowledge of firearm safety standards, handling procedures, and relevant legal regulations
- Excellent communication skills to provide clear instructions and enforce rules confidently
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during emergencies or high-stress situations
- Knowledge and experience in retail customer service and sales

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
