Join our dynamic construction team as a Rebar Installer and be a vital part of bringing large-scale building projects to life! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for accurately installing reinforcing steel (rebar) that forms the backbone of concrete structures. Your expertise will help ensure the stability, durability, and safety of commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.

Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine rebar placement and specifications.
- Measure, cut, bend, and assemble rebar using hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery to match project requirements.
- Install rebar cages and reinforcement within concrete forms, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes to transport and position rebar materials safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, concrete finishers, and other trades to coordinate installation activities during renovation or new construction projects.
- Conduct quality checks on installed rebar for accuracy, stability, and compliance with safety standards.




- Assist in restoration work or modifications as needed during project upgrades or repairs.

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment confidently.
- Proven experience in rebar installation, concrete forming, masonry, drywall installation, or related construction fields.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of welding techniques and schematics is a plus for specialized reinforcement tasks.
- Familiarity with construction safety protocols including heavy lifting practices and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Basic understanding of concrete finishing techniques such as caulking or flooring installation is advantageous.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving during renovation or restoration projects.
