Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented candidate to join our team doing counting and sorting recycling containers at Crossfield Bottle Depot. The candidate is responsible to accurately count and sort containers brought in by the customers. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Count and sort recycling containers based on specified criteria.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and loaders to move materials as needed.
- Clean and sanitize work areas to maintain a safe and organized environment.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Prepare mega bags for shipping including labeling and documentation.
- Regular cleaning of floor, tables,



sink and all other equipment...etc

Skills

- Proficiency in forklift operation and bobcat is preferred.
- Experience with heavy equipment operation is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lb).
- Robust attention to detail for accurate counting and sorting and categorization of materials.
- Capability to clean and sanitize work areas effectively.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with colleagues effectively.
