Expected Wage Range: $140,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year

As a Regional Finance Officer at CIMS Limited Partnership, you will be a key contributor towards CIMS success by working shoulder-to-shoulder with the Senior Vice President, Operations and project leadership to turn field results into sound business decisions while embodying CIMS corporate values of Our People, Our Promise, Our Passion.

You will report to the Sr. VP Operations, Eastern Division and be accountable for:

- Serving as the vital link between operations and finance — giving the Senior Vice President real-time visibility into the region’s financial KPIs and fiscal health and providing Ontario operations leaders with the numbers they need.
- Partnering with operations leaders and corporate finance to build execution strategies that hold up on the ground.
- Championing CIMS’ Operational Excellence model in operations and carrying the CIMS standard for quality.
- Putting financial controls and strategy to work and owning project accounting for the business unit, from end to end.
- Keeping systems and processes running consistently so project execution stays smooth at every level and ensuring project controls are understood and used across the region.
- Leading accounting and payroll functions for the organization.
- Owning the region’s profitability and working capital performance — spotting risks to margin and cash flow.
- Being the region’s primary point of contact for surety/bonding, and insurance partners, and weighing in on risks.

A successful candidate would be an individual who has:

- An Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration,



or a related field along with a CPA/CFA designation or an MBA is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in financial planning/management or accounting within construction, manufacturing or heavy industry, with at least 4 years in a senior financial leadership role.
- Previous experience working with either or both MS Business Central & InEight is a solid asset.
- Working knowledge of percentage-of-completion (POC) revenue recognition, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, and job costing methodologies used in project-based contracting businesses.
- Strong knowledge of applicable Canadian accounting standards (ASPE) and internal control frameworks.
- Proven leadership experience, including managing teams of operations and finance professionals.
- Experience with budgeting, financing, managing business risk and contract negotiations.
- Ability to work effectively with teams across the organization and bridge differences to reach resolution.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel periodically to project sites and regional offices across Ontario .

Working conditions you can expect while performing your role include:

- Office environment with periods of high pace and pressure (e.g., collections and month-end deadlines).
- Occasional travel to project sites and regional offices across Ontario,



including exposure to industrial/construction site environments requiring adherence to site safety protocols and PPE requirements.
