Our long standing patient-centred general and cosmetic dental practice in Downtown Toronto is currently looking to hire a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our warm and friendly team! Restorative Dental Hygiene would be an asset (but not necessary) and pay will reflect years of experience, role, skills and abilities.

Pre-existing dental hygiene experience of at least 1 year preferred. Your existing clinical skillset would be welcomed, and you will also receive on-site directed training as needed on a personal level to help develop your practice.

We are a fully digital practice that also utilizes Itero digital scanning. You will have access to the Itero and all our technologies, work with Invisalign cases, or learn to do so. We are committed to growing all our team members to help them succeed.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about learning, have a gentle approach to dentistry, with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

We are strongly adherent to RCDSO, CHDO and IPAC requirements and recognize the importance of this for both our patients' and our working professionals' needs.

Responsibilities include:

- Performing all aspects of clinical dental hygiene services for patients including: examinations, scaling, root planing, polishing, topical fluoride application, pit and fissure sealants, whitening, physical and digital impressions
- Involvement with Invisalign treatments




- Restorative dental hygienists will be welcomed to work alongside DDS to perform restorative procedures within scope of practice
- Personalized oral hygiene instruction
- Ability to explain dental conditions to patients well, and present treatment options based on dentist's recommendations
- Digital charting of dental conditions based on dentist’s diagnoses
- Itero scanning and patient education
- Maintain strong patient relationships within our long standing practice and professionalism through excellent customer service skills
- Assist in maintaining dental equipment within the clinic
- Adhere to IPAC and all regulatory body guidelines in the reprocessing of dental instruments and other activities within our practice

Time Commitment:

- Mondays 9:45am-6:15pm (i.e. patients scheduled 10am-6pm)
- Thursdays will be either 7:45 or 8:15am start until 5pm to be determined (+/- 15 min )
- *prefer candidate who can work both days but Mondays are required
