Okanagan Dentistry is seeking a professional, motivated Dental Hygienist with excellent people skills and a positive attitude to join our team. We are an independently owned, non-corporate dental practice in the heart of Kelowna, dedicated to providing exceptional dental care with honesty, integrity, and a strong commitment to our patients and our team.

About the Position

- Full-time or part-time, 3–4 days per week
- Minimum 1 year of dental hygiene experience required
- Must be a licensed Dental Hygienist and registered in British Columbia
- Experience with Power Practice is an asset
- Experience with digital dental technology is an asset
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be organized, dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a busy environment
- Must have a genuine interest in building long-term relationships with patients and the dental team
- Must be committed to continuing education and ongoing professional development

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and create a welcoming, comfortable experience
- Perform dental hygiene treatment, preventative care, assessments, and periodontal therapy as required
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventative care, and maintaining their oral health
- Build strong, long-term relationships with patients
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Power Practice
- Utilize technology and other tools to enhance patient education and treatment
- Communicate effectively with dentists, dental assistants, reception, and other team members
- Contribute to efficient patient flow and a positive team setting
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with applicable privacy and professional standards
- Participate in continuing education and remain current with developments in dental hygiene and dentistry
